DEX NODE
DEX Node is a physical device: a node, microserver with ample SSD storage, featuring 4 alternative communication channels. By connecting with each other using the P2P principle, nodes form a distributed decentralized environment upon which DEX services are deployed. Each node employs a high-performance multi-threaded processor, 2TB SSD memory, GSM, Swarm, and a module for its independent wireless channel — DEX WAN.
DEX Node has 4 alternative communication channels:
1. Proprietary high-frequency ground channel
This is an autonomous communication channel at 915 MHz, enabling DEX Node devices to detect each other within a radius of up to 5.5 km. By uniting in a beehive-like manner, DEX Nodes create a stable and secure communication channel, overlapping each other with ground radio signals.
2. Low Earth Orbit (LEO) satellite channel
This channel is provided through the direct connection of DEX Node devices via a compact 25 cm antenna to the nearest SpaceX Swarm LEO satellite for two-way data exchange. SpaceX satellites ensure stable communication with DEX Nodes, covering the entire planet 100%.
3. GSM
Based on the DEXNET technology, a decentralized mobile operator, DEX Mobil, is deployed. Each DEX Node is equipped with a GSM module and direct connection to the DEXNET network.
4. Public internet
In parallel, DEX Nodes use traditional internet for transmitting large encrypted data packets.

DEX Rate (DR) is the computational power coefficient of DEX Node, used in calculating rewards for node holders. The base DR value is 1.
DEX Rate (DR) depends on:
- Continuous uptime in the network.
- Internet channel bandwidth of the node owner.
- Signal quality of communication with the satellite or base station.
- SSD disk capacity.
The number of DEXNET tokens earned during the operation of the DEX Node is multiplied by this coefficient. The total DEXNET token amount is credited to the wallet of the node holder.
MINIMUM INTERNET BANDWIDTH REQUIREMENTS FOR NODE
Up: 0.10 Mbps
Down: 0.30 Mbps
OPTIMAL INTERNET BANDWIDTH REQUIREMENTS FOR NODE
Up: 5 Mbps and above
Down: 15 Mbps and above
The range of the DEX Rate parameter varies from 0.00001 to 1.
REWARD SIZE
For ensuring the uninterrupted operation of DEX Node devices, node owners receive rewards in DEXNET tokens. The size of the reward varies and depends on the number of devices simultaneously operating in the network and the issued token blocks according to the tokenomics. The total number of active devices is taken into account in the calculation.
